Projects
RABT
The RABT platform, a ground-breaking initiative by the Industrial Innovation Academy, implemented and operated by Business Gateways International (BGI). RABT is a digital interactive platform designed to enhance procurement opportunities for industrial products within the Sultanate of Oman.
RABT serves as a comprehensive hub that connects Oman-based Manufacturers, Industrial Service Providers, and potential Investors. The platform focuses on stimulating the local procurement of industrial products and enhancing In-Country Value (ICV) by promoting the use of Omani products in industrial facilities.
We have onboarded the Oman-based Manufacturers (Industrial Organisations) from the Industrial Estates (Madayn) for updating their Profile and Certification process, as part of Phase 1 Release.
In the Phase 2 Release, we have on-board the Monitoring Authorities and enabled provision for them to search, view and download the Industrial Organisations data for their Procurement needs. In addition, enabled the Industrial Organisations Search feature for Portal Admin.
Phase 3 Development is currently in progress, with this release we will implement Contracts data import and BOQ Mapping feature for the Monitoring Authorities.
Oman Energy Association Unified Services Platform (OPAL USP)
Oman Energy Association (OPAL) Unified Services Platform (OPAL USP) is designed to offer all of its Services through a single platform for agreeing and promoting work standards to increase competencies and professionalism.
Following are the services offered in OPAL USP for the Oman-based Companies:
Training Evaluation Centre Certification:
OPAL Star Certified Centres can register candidates for Training and Assessment. Issue OPAL Permit Card to the Competent Candidates, after completion of Assessment.
Roadworthiness Assurance Standards (RAS) Inspection Centre Certification:
OPAL Certified RAS Inspection Centres can register vehicles for an Inspection and issue RAS Sticker on successful Inspection.
In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) Vendor – Device Certification:
IVMS Vendors can register vehicles for an OPAL Certified IVMS Device Installation and issue IVMS Device Installation Certification on successful Device Installation. In addition to the above, following: services enabled in OPAL USP for the Oman-based Companies:
Lifting Equipment (LE) Inspection Centre Certification:
LE Inspection Centres can register and apply for Certification. In the upcoming release, we will enable access to register vehicles for LE Inspection and issue LE Sticker to the Vehicle Owner.
Camp Certification:
Companies who have Camp within Oman can register and apply for Certification.

23 – 25 October 2024: Windergy India 2024
Windergy India 2024 took place from October 23 to 25 2024, in Chennai, India. Organised by the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) and PDA Ventures Pvt Ltd, the sixth edition of Windergy India featured a three-day trade fair and a two-day conference. This event provided a dynamic platform for engaging with policymakers, regulatory authorities, as well as both international and domestic technology, solutions, and service providers from the wind power industry.
4 – 7 November 2024: ADIPEC 2024
businessgateways was pleased to meet with JSRS Suppliers and Companies at ADIPEC 2024 Event. Companies met with us to learn about the JSRS Certification and explore potential B2B opportunities.
